An Apology Letter to All First Floor Teachers

Ryan Klimkewicz

I apologize for the loud (and sometimes annoying) music that my colleagues and I play throughout the day, mainly during B, E, and H blocks. I can understand how this might annoy you and disrupt your classes. Even though no one has really yelled at us to stop playing (besides the hockey team, but that’s expected) my colleagues and I can sense your passive-aggressive attempts to get us to stop. The slamming of doors and staredowns are noticed and noted.

Now, some of you may be wondering “Why the hallway next to the Black Box and Mr.Jacobs’s room?” Well, the answer to this question is two-fold. First of all, the hallway in question has amazing acoustics. Everything in this hallway sounds good; even my singing sounds somewhat bearable here. Secondly, this area is secluded. This hallways is away from most of the school. We play here so we don’t disturb too many classes. But it’s mainly for the acoustics.

My colleagues and I have decided that we will compromise to try and keep all teachers happy. We will now be taking requests from all teachers throughout the school. This way, teachers get to listen to music they enjoy, even if it is disturbing a class. We also promise that we will not play modern pop hits. Teachers do not have to worry about Nicki Minaj or Katy Perry blaring throughout the school. Again, thank you for not yelling at us or breaking our instruments.

Thanks,

Ryan Klimkewicz and Co.
