For the last 25 years, Jenn Fredrickson Hutchins has been an integral part of The Albany Academies. Her tenure started with a paper copy of her resume sent to the address provided in the Help Wanted section of the Times Union; all these years later, she is, according to John McNally P’37, “if not the actual heart of the school, definitely one of the chambers. Without her, things wouldn’t flow.”
In addition to her professional career as Registrar, The Albany Academies has shaped Jenn’s life by providing her two children with the best education she could provide for them, and she is proud they are both lifelong learners with open minds. It really is a family affair for Jenn – last October, Jenn acquired the new last name “Hutchins” from Mr. Ron Hutchins P’11, Athletic Trainer at The Albany Academies, when they eloped at Long Sand Beach in York, Maine. One year later, Jenn and Ron are new grandparents to Winnifried Anetzberger, daughter of Frankie Anetzberger ‘10.
